I do either in-person or phone consultations with all clients prior to their newborn photo sessions. During the consultation for this family’s newborn session, they mentioned that they would be bringing a grandmillenial style newborn daygown. Gah! But then. She mentioned that she would also be bringing the baby’s great-great grandfather’s newborn crib pillow sham. I just knew this was going to be one grandmillenial style newborn photo session for the books.
Another fun thing with this sweet grandmillenial styled newborn photo session – this sweet baby girl was 5 weeks old. So you’ll see that she was a bit more awake and alert than “new” newborns. But I love that also. Older newborns have stronger eye muscles, therefore we can often get much better eye contact from them! They’ve also had time to chunk up some more and y’all know how I love chunky babies.
For this newborn photo session, Mama borrowed the most dreamy blue and white dress from the studio wardrobe for her portraits.
